This role is with Talentedge Exec (formerly Talentarc). The organisation is building a finance function in a fast-growing B2B FinTech startup, with the London team expanding as the European HQ. You will work closely with the CFO to build and lead a global finance function for a soon-to-be household name in tech.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continue to design and roll out key scalable processes, controls and systems
  • Lead the day-to-day finance function, including consolidated monthly management and annual statutory accounts
  • Turn data generated into meaningful insights to support business decision making
  • Partner with the CFO on FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering and KPI analysis
  • Support on future funding rounds
  • Continually use technology to automate manual functions
  • In time, recruit, mentor and grow the finance team further

Profile / Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Experience of working within a high growth FinTech / SaaS scaleup (preferably Series B onwards)
  • Proven experience of building a finance function from scratch, including processes, teams, systems
  • Commercially focused with strong analytical skills and advanced Excel
  • Comfortable working with multi-currencies and preparing consolidated accounts
  • Happy to travel to Paris HQ, potentially bi-monthly
