Talentedge Exec are partnering with the Founder of a company-building firm that partners with exceptional global technical / scientific talent to build venture-backed businesses in Silicon Valley, in partnership with tier 1 US venture capital funds. The firm takes a hands-on role in early stage company formation through to product-market fit: research, market assessment, diligence, team building, and fundraising.
About the role:
Partnering closely with the Founder, you will operate as a trusted right hand to identify, select and work with outlier Eastern European technical co-founders, who have the potential to build world-leading companies in Silicon Valley, as part of a new thesis. This is a high-impact, high-upside role that can serve as a launch pad to becoming a key early hire at a high-growth venture-backed firm. It is also an intense role where you will be deeply involved in strategy and execution at the earliest stages of company formation, helping the Founder to turn talent and ideas into venture-scale businesses.
Key responsibilities:
- Founder’s technical force multiplier: Support the Founder in handling research, synthesis, and follow-up on critical decisions, ensuring day-to-day execution
- Technical co-founder assessment & process acceleration: Work directly with Eastern European technical co-founders to assess their potential, structure their thinking, prioritise execution
- Technical and/or scientific research: Evaluate preparedness / feasibility of the proposed technology, its novelty / scalability / defensibility and technical progress made to date
- Market analysis: Conduct analysis of competitive landscape in Silicon Valley / globally, identify customer and data-driven validation methods to predict scale of impact
- Investment preparation: Work with the Founder to develop and refine pitch materials and investment memos. Prepare and engage with key investor, advisor, and talent networks
- Execution & project management: Drive critical work streams across hiring, product roadmap refinement. Set up and optimize internal processes to ensure rapid iteration cycles
- Leadership interface: Synthesize insights from Founder external and internal meetings into actionable recommendations, serving as a bridge between Founder and key stakeholders
Qualifications & experience:
- Strong academic background and / or ability of exceptional academic or professional ability
- Bias for execution: extreme focus of moving fast, iterating, and ensuring work completion
- Owner’s mindset: operates with ownership and self-sufficiency, able to anticipate problems
- Able to work remotely (with occasional ad hoc work-related travel requirements only)
- Fluent Russian language skills
