We are recruiting for a market-leading business who are looking for a driven and ambitious sales person to join their team covering the Kent territory of customers. You will be responsible for calling on independent pharmacy customers on a bi-monthly basis to sell, educate and provide point-of-sale material. You will need to establish ongoing relationships and build trust with the pharmacy owners and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales objectives, including order targets, distribution, point of sale, detailing, and merchandising within independent pharmacies
- Manage your own diary and plan your visits using planning software
- Educate pharmacy staff on product features and benefits, encouraging recommendations of specific products to customers
- Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times
- Maintain frequent and effective communication with line management and the sales support team
- Record all activity accurately on the CRM system
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
- Perform other tasks related to the role as directed by the manager
Ideal Experience:
- Previous experience in B2B sales, preferably within FMCG or Health & Beauty sectors
- Knowledge of the independent pharmacy industry
- Experience with CRM systems
- Good standard of education
- Strong communication skills to confidently present product features and benefits at all levels.
- Ability to analyse and manage sales targets, ensuring KPIs are met
- Effective time management skills
- Competency in using CRM systems for territory analysis and sales recommendations
- In-depth knowledge of the industry to anticipate and address potential challenges or objections
