We are currently looking for an experienced Coffee Field Service Engineer to join our growing team covering York and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Coffee Field Service Engineer with experience working on commercial coffee equipment, particularly bean-to-cup machines, to join a well-established and supportive business.
The Role
As a Coffee Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and repair of commercial coffee machines at customer sites including cafés, restaurants, offices, hospitality venues, and retail locations. The role is mainly focused on bean-to-cup coffee machines, with occasional work on traditional espresso equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain commercial coffee machines
- Diagnose and fault-find electrical and mechanical issues
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance
- Install new coffee equipment
- Provide excellent customer service on-site
- Complete service reports and paperwork accurately
- Manage van stock and maintain company vehicle
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Coffee Field Service Engineer
- Strong knowledge of bean-to-cup coffee machines
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
- Good customer-facing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable Experience
- Experience with traditional espresso machines
- Electrical qualifications (17th/18th Edition, PAT Testing, etc.)
- Water filtration knowledge
- Experience working in hospitality equipment service

- Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 depending on experience
