Job Description

Talented People are recruiting on behalf of a business based in Wokingham who are looking for an

HR Generalist/Advisor to join them on a permanent basis!

£35,000 - £40,000 + Company Car + Hybrid Working

Location

  • Wokingham (1 day in the office, 4 days working from home)
  • We’re recruiting for an experienced

HR Advisor to join a successful and growing organisation in a standalone HR role.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you’ll take ownership of the HR function while helping shape the people strategy as the business continues to grow.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, wants to work closely with senior leadership and is looking for genuine career progression.

As the business expands, you’ll also have the opportunity to support additional companies within the wider group.

The Role

You’ll provide a full generalist HR service, including

  • Advising managers and Directors on all HR matters.
  • Managing employee relations cases.
  • Leading recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities.
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining the HR system and ensuring legal compliance.
  • Supporting employee development and engagement.
  • Working closely with the Directors on HR projects and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Previous HR Advisor or generalist HR experience.
  • Strong Employee Relations knowledge.
  • A good understanding of UK employment law.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
  • Sector specific experience isn’t essential
  • we’re looking for the right HR professional with the ambition to grow alongside the business.
