Warehouse Operative – Night Shift
Location: Chessington, Surrey
Hours: Night Shift
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join an established distribution business based in Chessington.
This is a hands-on warehouse position, suited to someone who has previous experience within a warehouse or distribution environment and is comfortable with physical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Receiving and checking incoming deliveries.
- Moving and putting away stock within the warehouse.
- Preparing orders for dispatch.
- Assisting with stock checks and general warehouse duties.
- Handling and moving goods safely.
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
- Following warehouse Health & Safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
- Bendi or Counterbalance Forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
- Good attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work night shifts.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- A practical approach to work and willingness to assist with different warehouse tasks as required.
