Warehouse Operative – Chessington
Location: Chessington, Surrey
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7am–4pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £13.35 per hour
Talented People Solutions are recruiting for an established distribution business in Chessington, seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative with an essential Counterbalance Forklift Licence. A Bendi licence is highly desirable.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a busy, physically demanding warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift, with Bendi experience advantageous.
- Loading and unloading vehicles, deliveries and goods.
- Checking incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Putting stock away and maintaining organised storage areas.
- Moving, handling and organising stock safely.
- Assisting with stock checks and inventory control.
- Preparing orders for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and supporting general warehouse duties.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential.
- Bendi forklift experience or licence – desirable.
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
- Reliable, punctual and attentive to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
