Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing distribution business that supplies products to commercial customers across the UK through a busy logistics and delivery network. We are looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to support a fast-paced transport operation, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multi-drop routes and support route optimisation.
- Communicate daily with drivers and provide operational updates.
- Monitor vehicle records, defects and maintenance requirements.
- Ensure all delivery documentation and PODs are completed accurately.
- Support driver performance reviews and compliance checks.
- Provide driver cover when required.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain service levels.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce transport costs.
About You:
- Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment.
- Experience coordinating multi-drop vehicles and route planning.
- Strong geographical knowledge, particularly London and surrounding areas.
- Understanding of fleet management and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
