Our client, a well-established and respected environmental services business, is seeking a motivated and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join their transport team based in the Gatwick area. The Role
Reporting to the Depot Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of predominantly hazardous clinical waste, ensuring full compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any defects in accordance with legal requirements.
- Safely operate waste collection vehicles while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Comply with tachograph legislation, Working Time Directive regulations, risk assessments, and safe operating procedures.
