They are looking for a talented Legal Secretary to join their Conveyancing Team in Steyning, West Sussex. There is plenty of room for growth within this well-known legal firm!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support to fee earners, including transcription, document production, diary management, billing, and other necessary tasks.
- Handle Land Registry and Stamp Duty Land Tax filings.
- Offer professional and friendly service to clients by answering calls, responding to emails, and attending client meetings.
- Ensure effective communication with fee earners and colleagues, addressing tasks and messages promptly.
- Manage new client and business opportunities efficiently.
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of the department and clients.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance regulations, ensuring proper maintenance of the client database.
Experience and Skills:
- Experience working in a property department within a law firm for at least a year.
- Familiarity with case management systems (desirable).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid word processing and audio typing skills, ensuring high standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
