We are currently seeking a Saw Operator to join our team based in Poole. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and stable working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a flatbed circular saw to cut aluminium plate ranging from 6mm to 200mm in thickness
- Determine the most efficient cutting plan to maximise yield and minimise scrap
- Pack completed orders onto pallets and apply shrink wrap for dispatch
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating circular saws, ideally within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
- Good understanding of cutting plans and material optimisation
- Reliable and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail
- Must have own transport or reliable access to public transport to commute to and from the workplace
