Salary: £27,000 – £28,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am – 4:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

We are currently seeking a Saw Operator to join our team based in Poole. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and stable working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a flatbed circular saw to cut aluminium plate ranging from 6mm to 200mm in thickness
  • Determine the most efficient cutting plan to maximise yield and minimise scrap
  • Pack completed orders onto pallets and apply shrink wrap for dispatch

Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating circular saws, ideally within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of cutting plans and material optimisation
  • Reliable and able to work independently with a strong attention to detail
  • Must have own transport or reliable access to public transport to commute to and from the workplace
