You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain the highest product standards, using both your technical expertise and your strong communication skills. As a Quality Control Engineer you will: * Inspect electronic/mechanical parts, PCBs, wiring, and assemblies * Interpret drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and CAD documentation * Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions (8D methodology) * Maintain and analyse quality data to support KPI reporting * Conduct internal and supplier audits in line with ISO9001 & ISO14001 * Support process improvement initiatives across the business What you’ll bring: * Electronics qualification (HNC, BTEC 3, or A-Level; BTEC 2 considered for the right candidate) * 3+ years in a similar quality role * Strong knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001 (IATF16949 experience an advantage) * Experience with data collection, validation, and database management * Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills * Confident use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Desirable: * DMAIC, FMEA, REACH knowledge * Internal auditing experience * IMDS familiarity If you’re a versatile, detail-oriented engineer with a passion for quality and a drive to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.
