We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team in Pulborough. This Quality Engineer role includes a strong focus on metrology, making it ideal for someone with experience as a Metrologist or working extensively with precision measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed inspections on components and finished products
- Operate advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs, scanners, and portable arms
- Create and maintain inspection and quality plans
- Manage calibration processes and equipment records
- Support internal and external audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
- Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions (CAPA)
- Analyse data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality engineering or metrology
- HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
- Strong understanding of measurement systems and inspection techniques
- Hands-on experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T
- Knowledge of quality standards and audit processes
