Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

We are looking for a talented Quality Engineer to join our team in Pulborough. This Quality Engineer role includes a strong focus on metrology, making it ideal for someone with experience as a Metrologist or working extensively with precision measurement systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed inspections on components and finished products
  • Operate advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs, scanners, and portable arms
  • Create and maintain inspection and quality plans
  • Manage calibration processes and equipment records
  • Support internal and external audits in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Analyse data and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in quality engineering or metrology
  • HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline
  • Strong understanding of measurement systems and inspection techniques
  • Hands-on experience with CMMs and precision measuring tools
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T
  • Knowledge of quality standards and audit processes
