Talented People are hiring on behalf of a well known brand in Crawley for a Production Technician to ensure the ongoing service and maintenance of their production machines as well as ensuring site facilities and maintenance are maintained.
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Salary: Β£26,000 β Β£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repair of production equipment, including conveyor-based machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults
- Support the maintenance of site facilities, including lighting, plumbing, and general utilities
- Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and service history
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and implement improvements
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
