We are recruiting a skilled Field Service Engineer to support industrial and commercial laundry equipment across Manchester and surrounding areas. This is a field-based position offering strong earning potential, excellent benefits, and a stable Monday to Friday working pattern.
You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial laundry machinery at customer sites, working independently while delivering a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Service, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial laundry equipment
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Provide technical support to customers
- Complete service reports and documentation
- Participate in a 1 in 4 weekend on-call rota
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Electrical bias essential with good mechanical knowledge
- Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or similar
- Backgrounds considered from industrial or commercial laundry, commercial equipment, or white goods / domestic appliances
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- £36,000 basic salary plus bonus
- Company vehicle (fully equipped)
- Door-to-door pay
- Overtime paid at time and a half
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
