A growing independent with serious creative momentum is looking for an experienced Executive Producer to join their team. This is a company with a clear sense of identity - a slate that spans premium access documentary, character-led storytelling, formatted fact-ent and drama, and a culture that genuinely puts its people first.
This is a documentary-primary role, though the right person may also exec across some formatted factual. Development experience is a nice-to-have; what matters most is a hands-on programme maker who can hit the ground running.
The role:
You'll exec across multiple projects simultaneously, carrying editorial and production responsibility from development through to delivery. A big part of this role is navigating sensitive, complex access - contributors in difficult circumstances, hard-hitting subject matter - with both rigour and genuine care.
You'll need:

  • A strong, proven track record at EP level across documentary for terrestrial and streamers
  • Real experience delivering sensitive access docs - you know how to handle contributors with care and editorial confidence
  • Excellent legal knowledge and instincts across compliance, clearance and editorial standards
  • The ability to manage a busy, multi-project slate without dropping the ball
  • Strong interpersonal skills across commissioners, talent, contributors and colleagues
  • A collaborative, team-first approach - this company has built something worth protecting culturally
Development experience and/or formatted factual background are both a bonus here.
