We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to support and improve the manufacturing processes within a growing electronics production environment. This is a hands-on role focused on process optimisation, new product introduction, and continuous improvement, working closely with Operations and Design teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide process engineering support
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across cost, quality and delivery
- Support new product introduction from design through to production
- Develop line layouts, throughput planning and standard work instructions
- Analyse production data and drive fact-based improvements
- Identify equipment, tooling and fixture requirements
- Support engineering changes through to production release
- Promote a safe and compliant working environment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an electronics / manufacturing environment
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering and production teams
- Hands-on, proactive approach with high attention to detail
- Minimum HNC in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (or similar)
- Confident using MS Office and production data systems
Desirable
- Experience with engineering change management
- New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
- Six Sigma or continuous improvement training
- HND or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
- CAD system exposure
