Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Engineer to join our growing service team covering the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a practical mindset who is looking to develop a long-term career within the commercial catering industry. The successful candidate will primarily support the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) across a range of commercial catering equipment. Full training and ongoing support will be provided by experienced engineers, with a clear pathway to progress into a fully qualified Field Service Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled PPM visits at customer sites under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Inspect, clean and maintain commercial catering equipment in line with manufacturer recommendations and company procedures.
- Complete service reports accurately using company systems.
- Identify signs of wear, damage or potential equipment failures and report findings to the Service Manager.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies.
- Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle to a professional standard.
- Deliver excellent customer service.
