Talented People are hiring on behalf of a well established and highly respected business within the automotive sector who are looking for an Account Manager due to their continued success in those office just outside Hove!

Location: Hove

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: Β£28,000 – Β£33,000 Dependent on experience | OTE Β£45,000 – Β£70,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 09:30 – 17:30 Saturday rota: 09:00 – 13:00 (minimal Saturdays worked, with half day back in lieu)

Benefits: Optional company car included with the role

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. This will be a range of individuals and business decision makers.
  • Provide tailored quotations and expert advice across a range of products.
  • Follow up leads that are provided.
  • Deliver a seamless customer journey using CRM systems and internal processes.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure excellent customer service throughout.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and customer retention.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience within sales or account management where you have built relationships and covered leads into new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge within automotive would be desirable but not essential. Strong sales experience is required to be considered.
  • Experience working towards sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proactive and solutions focused approach.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
