Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative Location: Horsham – due to the location, applicants will ideally have their own transport Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm Contract: Temp to Perm Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business in Horsham for an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term position with a supportive and established company. Working as part of the warehouse team, you will play an important role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently and customer orders are prepared accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities * Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts * Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing deliveries * Moving, locating and storing stock safely throughout the warehouse * Picking and preparing customer orders accurately * Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations * Ensuring stock is handled correctly and safely * Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment * Working closely with the wider warehouse team to ensure daily requirements are completed efficiently Experience & Requirements * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential * Reach Truck Licence would be advantageous, although training can be provided * Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver or within a busy warehouse environment * Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred due to the location * Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures * Reliable, hardworking and comfortable working within a team * Good attention to detail and a positive approach to work What's on Offer? * £13.00 per hour * Monday to Friday working hours * No weekend working * Temp to perm opportunity * Long-term position with an established and growing business * Ongoing training and development opportunities * Friendly and supportive working environment If you're an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative looking for a long-term opportunity in Horsham, we'd love to hear from you.
