Talented People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Sales Support Administrator to join their busy Horsham office on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a varied administration role, ideal for someone with strong office administration and sales support experience who enjoys keeping orders, deliveries and day-to-day admin running smoothly.
Key Administration Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support across the sales and operations team
- Answering incoming calls, handling general enquiries and passing clear messages to the relevant person
- Booking carriers and completing associated delivery administration, including queries, claims and refunds
- Running purchase order reports and carrying out supplier administration, including checking and chasing due dates
- Running delivery due lists and updating the sales team on any issues or delays
- Chasing outstanding customer payments and keeping records up to date
- Completing sales order administration, reviewing orders for size, specification, price, quantity, delivery and quality
- Loading customer enquiries onto the system for the sales team to price
- Processing and loading works orders and customer orders
- Checking works orders are correctly allocated to jobs and progressing orders to ensure deadlines are met
- Completing dispatch administration, including confirming jobs, allocating loads and raising despatch notes
- Monitoring stationery and First Aid supplies and arranging replenishment when required
Administrator Experience Required
- Previous administration experience within an office-based environment
- Confident handling a varied administrative workload and managing multiple priorities
- Experience using Microsoft 365
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Full UK driving licence and reliable transport, or living locally to Horsham
