Managing the issue and return of plant and equipment, including maintaining sign in/sign out records.
Operating a forklift truck.
Managing company vehicles, including servicing, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep.
Maintaining vehicle-related records, including driver eyesight check records.
Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering materials, tools, and equipment to site locations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or yard-based role.
- Forklift licence preferred, but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage paperwork, records, and stock systems accurately.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role.
- Experience within construction, electrical contracting, or a similar environment would be advantageous.
- Basic computer skills beneficial.
Salary & Benefits:
- £37,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays.
