Warehouse Team Leader / Dispatch Supervisor
Location: Crawley Salary: From £35,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday | Late Shift | No Weekends
We're recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader / Dispatch Supervisor to join a busy, fast-paced warehouse operation in Crawley.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in dispatch, warehouse systems, and logistics coordination who enjoys leading from the front.
The successful candidate will oversee the outbound operation, ensuring orders are processed accurately through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and dispatched efficiently to meet customer deadlines.

The Role
As Warehouse Team Leader, you'll take responsibility for the late shift operation, ensuring the warehouse runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and customer service.
You'll work closely with internal departments and transport providers to ensure all outbound shipments leave on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives during the late shift.
- Oversee all outbound dispatch activities, ensuring orders are processed and shipped accurately.
- Manage workflow using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanning technology.
- Monitor order status, dispatch schedules, and shipment priorities through warehouse systems.
- Ensure stock movements and inventory transactions are accurately recorded electronically.
- Coordinate with transport and internal departments to meet delivery schedules.
- Investigate and resolve system, stock, or dispatch discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor team performance, productivity, and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and warehouse best practice.
- Identify opportunities to improve dispatch processes and operational efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Dispatch Supervisor, Warehouse Supervisor, or similar.
- Strong experience within a system-driven warehouse environment using WMS or ERP systems.
- Good understanding of dispatch, shipping, logistics, and outbound operations.
- Experience supervising warehouse teams and allocating workloads.
- Confidence using warehouse technology, handheld scanners, and computer-based systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, hands-on leadership style with the ability to work under pressure.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
