We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy warehouse team based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking long-term employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Moving stock, products, and cages throughout the warehouse.
- Transferring products to designated workstations and tables for processing.
- Handling products in line with company procedures, including items weighing up to 30kg.
- Supporting the efficient movement of stock and materials between departments as a Runner.
- Assisting with picking, packing, and general warehouse duties as required.
- Carrying out quality checks and reporting any issues.
- Preparing products for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
- Have previous warehouse, production, assembly, or picking and packing experience.
- Possess good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Be able to follow instructions and established processes.
- Have good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.
- Be reliable and punctual.
Due to the nature of this position, applicants must:
- Be able to provide a full 5-year employment history with no unexplained gaps.
- Be willing to undergo a Basic DBS check.
- Successfully complete mandatory security training.
