We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy and growing operation. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position with a strong opportunity for permanent employment after a successful 12-week period.
Pay Rate: £16.50 - £17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm. Overtime and some weekend work available.
Role Overview:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle for house clearance and removal work
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of furniture and other items on a daily basis
- Ensuring safe loading/unloading and secure transport of goods
- Providing a professional and respectful service to clients on-site
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Up-to-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Tacho card
- Physically fit – regular heavy lifting is a key part of the job
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Previous removals or clearance experience beneficial, but not essential
- Experience with heavy lifting/manual handling is essential

- Temp to Perm – 12 weeks via agency
- Permanent role offered based on reliability and performance
