We are hiring an experienced Assistant Foreman / Manufacturing Supervisor to support daily factory operations and lead a team on the shop floor. This is a newly created role due to growth, offering the opportunity to step into a senior supervisory position. You will work closely with the Factory Foreman and leadership team to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. An electrical background is highly desirable, as you will take responsibility for electrical builds and support across production.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of 30+ operatives
- Support the Factory Foreman in day-to-day operations
- Plan and prioritise production workloads
- Oversee electrical assembly, builds, and fault finding
- Ensure production targets and deadlines are met
- Maintain quality standards across all output
- Enforce health and safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement on the shop floor
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing, production, or fabrication environment
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Foreman
- Electrical knowledge or experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach
