Job title: CNC Operator Area: Aldershot Salary: £15 – £18 per hour What you will be doing as a CNC Operator? * Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines to meet production requirements. * Adjust machine settings efficiently to accommodate job changes within defined timeframes. * Interpret and understand CNC programs, ensuring correct execution of machining processes. * Perform precise measurements using micrometres, verniers, and other inspection tools to verify components meet drawing dimensions and validation sheets. * Conduct in-process inspections and compare parts against technical drawings and specifications to ensure quality and accuracy. * Follow company quality systems and procedures, maintaining high standards throughout all tasks. * Respond to technical queries and troubleshoot basic issues as they arise. * Collaborate with colleagues and provide support on other tasks to help ensure smooth workflow across the team. * Report any operational issues to the Unit Manager or Supervisor promptly. * Comply with all health and safety requirements, completing any required training and always adhering to safety protocols. * Maintain punctuality and professionalism, contributing to an efficient and reliable work environment.
