HGV Technician – Bishops Cleeve
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30, and alternate Saturdays, 07:00–11:30.
We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a fleet maintenance team based in Bishops Cleeve, with travel to the Bristol depot required when necessary.
The Role

Service, maintain and repair HGVs and associated equipment.

Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.

Maintain accurate records and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds HGV Parts 1, 2 and 3, or equivalent.

Current Category C (Class 2) HGV driving licence.

Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

Willingness to travel between depots when required.

Comfortable working at height occasionally and meeting the strict 140kg weight limit for this requirement.
