The Role We are looking for an experienced Catering Equipment Engineer with a specialist focus on bakery appliances. You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of bakery appliances, along with wider catering equipment, ensuring their clients in retail and food production can operate without disruption. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who can work independently, solve complex problems on-site, and deliver first-class service to our customers. Key Responsibilities of the Catering Equipment Engineer * Install, service, and repair a range of bakery ovens and catering equipment. * Diagnose complex electrical and mechanical faults quickly and accurately. * Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. * Provide technical expertise and support to clients, maintaining strong working relationships. * Complete accurate service reports and documentation. What We’re Looking For in the Catering Equipment Engineer * Proven experience as a catering/bakery equipment engineer or white goods (minimum 3 years preferred). * Strong knowledge of bakery ovens and associated catering equipment. * Gas and electrical skills (COMCAT qualifications highly desirable). * Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving ability. * High attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Full UK driving licence (essential). * F-Gas certification would be an advantage
