We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse and production environment. This is a hands-on role supporting the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency across all operations. We welcome applications from candidates with valid or recently expired forklift licences, provided they have relevant experience and are willing to refresh certification if required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts (valid or expired licences considered).
- Receive, check, and book in incoming goods accurately.
- Pick and prepare components for production and finished goods for customer orders.
- Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Carry out pallet stacking and stock storage duties in a safe and organised manner.
- Maintain accurate records using computerised stock/inventory systems.
- Support deliveries, collections, and returns between warehouse and production areas.
- Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards.
- Participate in stock checks and inventory audits.
- Follow all company health, safety, fire, and quality procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience essential.
- Counterbalance forklift licence (valid or recently expired accepted).
- Reach forklift licence (valid or recently expired accepted).
- Experience using computerised inventory or stock control systems.
- Good communication and numeracy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
- Basic manual handling awareness.
Desirable Experience
- FMCG or GMP environment experience.
- Order picking and dispatch experience.
- Experience using LV or similar warehouse systems.

- Organised, methodical, and reliable.
