Our Client in Peterbourough is a Global recognised Company for its efficent Waste Management solutions and is now looking for an Interim Waste Management Chemist Grad to join the team. You will be working with the Team on Day to Day treatments and land Fill requirments.
Salary up to £27k + Benefits.

Assist with hands-on operation of waste acceptance and transfer into either landfill or treatment.

Uphold site compliance with permitting by monitoring material coming into site and communicate non-conforming wastestreams.

Responsible for stock management, stock summaries and month end.

Compiling movement packs of wastes to be transferred from Soil Treatment Pad to another site.

Monitoring of stock, reporting changes and identifying wastestreams.

Collaborate with Pad Supervisor to ensure site and personal targets/kpi’s are achieved.

Facilitate all site sampling requirements including Thornhaugh site.

Assist with running of all operations including Soil Treatment Pad Weighbridge and de-bagging operations., * Proactively support and embed a generative safety culture.

Assist with the Pad Supervsior or Operations Manager’s plan for the operational areas, adapt to the unplanned and unexpected and deliver on targets/KPIs.

Ensure compliance of all waste coming into site (physical and administrative), utilise appropriate system to manage non-compliance.

Uphold the acceptance, treatment and transfer procedures and risk assessments. Actively feedback if there is a gap in them.

Liaise with other staff to ensure correct routing and transfer of wastes.

Ensure house-keeping requirements and continuous improvement programmes are supported both directly and through the plant team.

Ensure technical compliance of all activity including partaking in audits and managent system reviews.

Partake in improvement of process contributing to micro project development and improving the velocity of the process plant.

Undertake area administration activity including Chemist Check sheets, process sheets, stock sheets, production records, etc.

Undertaking specific tasks as per business requirements: sampling, operations, ad-hock opportunities.

Maintaining continuous professional development and competence for the role.

Running or assisting others with weighbridge operations, tracking progress and communicating information with other parties.
