Chiller Service Engineer Location: Onsite across London and neighbouring counties Salary:£40,000 – £50,000 per annum Company Profile: A leading provider of HVAC solutions, this organisation specialises in maintaining and servicing critical air conditioning and chiller equipment. They are committed to ensuring customers’ assets remain compliant and in optimal condition. Hours: Standard hours are 7:00 – 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Responsibilities / Duties: * Independently service, maintain, and repair a range of chillers * Complete work on different types of compressors, including scroll, reciprocating, and screw * Compile dilapidation reports and assess equipment condition * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and repair works * Conduct advanced fault finding and diagnostics * Ensure accurate and timely reporting of completed work * Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies * Promote and adhere to health and safety best practices Requirements / Skills: * Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent * Category 1 F-Gas qualification or equivalent * Full UK driving licence * Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with both engineering and office teams * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities * Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work * Ability to use manufacturer service software * Understanding of data and its applications in diagnostics * Experience working with centrifugal/Turbocor compressors is highly desirable * Knowledge of other HVAC equipment such as air conditioning, air handling units (AHUs), and refrigeration is advantageous Other Points: This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to join a company that values expertise and provides excellent support and development opportunities.
