We are excited to be working with a VC-backed SaaS startup looking to hire their first dedicated salesperson in the shape of an exceptional Founding Account Executive. Having raised a substantial Seed funding round from top investors, they’re now keen to add a first Account Executive to their growing team in London.
You will report directly to one of the Co-founders, who has been leading all commercial efforts up to this point. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, hungry and appreciates a great sales process and executes it well. You know how to sell innovation and can drive deals forward to compress sales cycles. You’re always seeking new sales opportunities, are comfortable prospecting within your territory and have a strong ability to close net-new accounts.
They have a team of c20 employees based out of their central London HQ, operating a hybrid-working model with at least 3 days per week in the office and the remainder at home.
As the Founding Account Executive you will:
- Open, manage and develop new client relationships. Win new business.
- Exceed pipeline and revenue targets, landing new logos through your referral network, partner activity, outbound contact, and supporting marketing events and campaigns.
- Highlight the value proposition to raise curiosity and interest, organising demos and meetings with clients and the pre-sales team.
- Adopt a solution-oriented approach to sales, focusing on delivering value to customers.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the industry and the products or services you're offering.
We want to hear from you if:
- You have 4+ years’ experience in a closing role, operating as an Enterprise AE within SaaS for at least 2 of those.
- You’ve achieved impressive success in SaaS sales at another early-stage startup.
- You have experience encouraging customers at senior levels to think differently about a problem or challenge.
- You’re a proactive, independent thinker with a positive attitude and high energy.
