Build Your Own Business. Work Remotely. Earn Without Limits.

Location: UK | Switzerland | USA | Remote

Compensation: Commission-Based

Learn how to win business. Build relationships. Create your own success. TalentCloud Group is looking for an ambitious Junior Business Development Associate to help develop new client relationships across the UK, Switzerland, and USA. We're not looking for years of experience. We're looking for someone with energy, curiosity, resilience, and the determination to become genuinely good at business development.

You'll work directly with experienced recruiters and business leaders, learning how to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, and build long-term commercial relationships. This is not a scripted call-centre sales role. It's an opportunity to develop real business development, sales, and relationship-building skills in an international recruitment business.

About TalentCloud Group

TalentCloud Group is a Zurich-based specialist recruitment business operating internationally. We combine specialist recruitment expertise with market intelligence, technology, data, and AI to help companies identify and secure exceptional talent. We're entrepreneurial, international, and deliberately low on bureaucracy. You'll work closely with experienced professionals who will help you develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

What You'll Do:

  • Your primary objective is simple: Create new client opportunities for TalentCloud Group.
  • Research companies and identify potential new clients.
  • Identify hiring managers, HR leaders, Talent Acquisition teams, and business decision-makers.
  • Make outbound calls and initiate new business conversations.
  • Use LinkedIn, email, telephone, and other channels to build relationships.
  • Identify companies that are actively hiring or likely to hire.
  • Introduce our unique recruitment capabilities and services.
  • Qualify recruitment opportunities.
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients.
  • Maintain and develop a pipeline of potential business opportunities.
  • Work with recruitment consultants to convert opportunities into assignments.
  • Build your own network of decision-makers.

You'll gain exposure to multiple markets including technology, AI, engineering, robotics, financial services, and professional services.

What You'll Learn

We don't expect you to arrive as an accomplished salesperson. We'll help you develop the skills required to become one. You'll learn how to:

  • Identify companies experiencing growth and hiring demand.
  • Research markets and spot commercial opportunities.
  • Prospect effectively and engage the right decision-makers.
  • Conduct professional cold-calling conversations.
  • Understand client business challenges and recruitment needs.
  • Build long-term relationships rather than transactional sales.
  • Convert conversations into meetings and opportunities.
  • Use AI, data, and modern sales technology to improve performance.

Who We're Looking For

Your background is less important than your potential. You might be:

  • Early in your sales or business development career.
  • Working in recruitment and interested in client development.
  • Coming from SaaS, property, hospitality, professional services, or another customer-facing environment.
  • A graduate seeking a commercially focused career.
  • An entrepreneurial individual looking to build valuable business skills.

Most importantly, you're:

  • Curious and eager to learn.
  • Articulate and confident in conversation.
  • Resilient when facing rejection.
  • Coachable and open to feedback.
  • Resourceful and proactive.
  • Commercially ambitious and motivated by results.

Compensation

We believe in being transparent. This is a commission-based opportunity without a guaranteed base salary. Your earnings are directly linked to the business you generate and the revenue created from those client relationships. This structure will not suit everyone. However, for someone who wants to develop serious business development skills, work with international companies, and participate directly in the value they create, the opportunity offers significant upside potential. The commission structure and payment mechanics will be explained clearly before any commitment is made.

Career Growth

This role is designed as an entry point, not a destination. As you develop, there are multiple progression paths, including: Business Development, Senior Business Development, Account Management, Recruitment Consulting, Market Leadership. You may also choose to specialize in a particular industry, geography, or client market. We're looking for people who want to build something and create lasting impact.

Ready to Apply?

Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile. But don't send a traditional cover letter. Instead, answer this question: You've identified a company you'd love to win as a TalentCloud client. How would you get their attention? We don't expect the perfect answer. We want to see how you think.
