The Application Trainer is responsible for delivering effective end-user training for the Electronic Health Records application to ensure successful adoption, usability, and ongoing proficiency. The role designs, develops, and delivers training programs, documentation, and learning materials while working closely with Health Services, Health IT, and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructor‑led and virtual training sessions for new and existing applications
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including user guides, quick reference sheets, videos, and e‑learning modules
  • Customize training content based on user roles, workflows, and system configurations
  • Conduct training needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning approaches
  • Support application rollouts, upgrades, and system changes through targeted training initiatives
  • Provide hands‑on system demonstrations and facilitate interactive learning sessions
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement
