About this opportunity
Working as part of a busy team within their van’s business, we have an opportunity for a Mobile Mechanic based at one of our client’s operations at Milton Keynes, Heathrow, Manchester or Doncaster. You can be based at any of these locations.
What you will do
- Service and maintain all vehicles to the highest standard
- Whenever called upon, attend breakdowns
- Diagnosing faults or malfunctions of our fleet
- From time to time, you will also be required to remove and change tyres.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines
You will bring
- Have a city & guilds or similar qualification in motor vehicle technology
- Attended a mechanical engineering course
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines
- You will be expected to work independently, be up to date with health and safety practices and have good working knowledge of tyres.
- Have the ability to work alone and manage your own time
- All candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the Right to Work in the UK.
- A clean driving license is also highly desirable.
