SAP Integration Suite Developer - Outside IR35 - Hybrid (Solihull)
£550 - £650 per day (Outside IR35)
Initial 3-month contract
Hybrid - Solihull, 2 days per week on-site
Role Overview
An experienced SAP Integration Suite Developer is required for an initial 3-month engagement, acting as technical lead for SAP integrations and APIs within a complex, evolving SAP landscape. You'll join an established UK enterprise as it drives large-scale digital transformation, and you'll design, develop and deliver integration solutions that connect the SAP ecosystem with a wide range of business applications and third-party systems, owning and driving the API development and integration strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Integration Suite developments across key business transformation programmes.
- Design and deliver robust integration solutions within a complex SAP environment.
- Own and drive the API development and integration strategy.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead integration workshops and engage with stakeholders across the business.
- Manage and deliver both large-scale projects and smaller enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure best-practice development standards and integration methodologies are followed.
Key Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience with SAP Advanced Event Mesh and event-based integrations.
- Demonstrable experience with ABAP Proxies and RFC debugging.
- Expertise configuring and supporting adapters including IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP and REST.
- Proven experience integrating SAP with third-party systems, end-to-end from design through to support.
- Experience facilitating integration requirement workshops and influencing API strategy and best practice.
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- SAP PI/PO experience (7.5 preferred), SAP Gateway/OData, SAP BPM/BPMN or ABAP knowledge all advantageous.
