Technical Product Manager – Enterprise Device Platforms – Permanent – Hybrid

A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own and evolve its enterprise device platforms across a complex, global estate. This permanent role, based in Manchester, is hybrid with 1–2 days per week in the office. You’ll be at the heart of device lifecycle strategy – from OEM relationships to user experience on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and roadmap for laptops, desktops, and peripherals across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Collaborate directly with global OEMs (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Apple) to optimise procurement, configuration, and deployment processes.
  • Define and deliver improvements across the full device lifecycle – including onboarding, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement.
  • Champion user experience by partnering with end users and technical teams to continuously enhance device satisfaction.
  • Leverage enterprise-grade tools such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, and Workspace ONE to enforce policy, security, and configuration standards.
  • Track product performance and drive innovation using hardware telemetry, support metrics, and user feedback.
  • Stay ahead of emerging hardware technologies and industry best practices.

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • Strong knowledge of enterprise hardware ecosystems (Windows/Mac devices, peripherals, accessories).
  • Proven experience managing vendor relationships with OEMs like Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Apple.
  • Hands-on expertise with device management and endpoint configuration tools (Intune, Jamf, Workspace ONE).
  • A background in physical device product ownership, including direct engagement with end users and operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
