We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional IFS Consultant with expertise in Manufacturing and Planning to support a major IFS Apps 10 implementation for a UK-based client. This is an initial 6-month contract (Outside IR35) with a high likelihood of extension, as the full programme is scoped for 18 months.

The role is hybrid, requiring ad-hoc travel to Cambridge for key project meetings, with predominantly remote work flexibility.

As a Senior Functional Consultant, you will lead stakeholder workshops, gather and translate business requirements, and ensure the solution design aligns with operational and planning strategies. This is an excellent opportunity to join an evolving programme early and take ownership of critical functional areas.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Deep expertise in IFS Manufacturing (e.g., Shop Orders, Routing, Work Centres, Inventory, MRP).
  • Strong knowledge of IFS Planning modules (Demand Planning, Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Capacity Planning).
  • Hands-on experience with IFS Apps 10 and full lifecycle implementations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional designs and configurations.
  • Experience leading functional workshops and liaising with business and technical teams.
  • Understanding of integration points between Manufacturing, Planning, and other IFS modules (e.g., Supply Chain, Projects).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Current SC Clearance preferred; candidates eligible for SC Clearance who are open to sponsorship are also welcome.
