About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, my client seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to have responsibility for overseeing a variety of engineering projects. This role involves managing teams, delivering project solutions, and ensuring that all technical specifications are met efficiently. The Lead Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with estimators, engineering production teams, manufacturing, and site-based installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical engineering team in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects.
- Oversee the design and manufacture of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate project cost estimates and schedules.
- Develop and review CAD designs and schematics for electrical LV switchgear ensuring all designs meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and installation teams.
