Are you passionate about opening doors for early talent? Our client, a leading global software organisation, is looking for an Apprenticeship Lead to join their Early Careers team. You’ll play a pivotal role in recruiting apprentices, providing a great candidate experience, and supporting the broader Early Careers strategy in the UK and US.
The Role
As a TA Specialist for Apprenticeships, you will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring top apprentice talent, while collaborating with TA Managers and Talent Brand colleagues. Your focus will include:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for apprenticeship vacancies, including assessment, onboarding, and candidate engagement.
- Partnering with schools, colleges, and external providers to build strong talent pipelines.
- Supporting Early Careers programmes and strategy, helping shape apprenticeship initiatives to meet business needs and future talent requirements.
- Ensuring all processes comply with legislation, funding rules (UK Apprenticeship Levy), and internal governance.
- Contributing to talent brand initiatives, careers events, and campaigns to attract the best apprentices.
- Supporting reporting, budgets, and TA spend related to apprenticeship hiring.
This is a hands-on recruitment role that also offers exposure to strategic initiatives and the chance to influence the apprentice journey across multiple locations.
What We’re Looking For
Must Have:
- Experience recruiting and onboarding apprentices or early careers talent.
- Knowledge of UK Apprenticeship Levy, funding rules, and compliance requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience building pipelines and engaging with schools, colleges, and external providers.
- Excellent organisation and project management skills, with attention to detail.
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
Preferred:
- Experience working with apprentices or early careers programmes outside the UK (US a plus).
- Experience supporting career readiness or development programmes.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and assessment tools; PowerBI a bonus.
Why This Role is Exciting
- Be the key driver of apprenticeship recruitment across the UK (and help grow opportunities in the US).
- Work alongside a strong Early Careers team and talent brand function.
- Contribute to shaping the apprenticeship strategy, helping to define programmes, development journeys, and growth opportunities for apprentices.
- Make a real difference in the careers of apprentices, supporting them through recruitment, onboarding, and early career development.
- Gain exposure to global Early Careers initiatives while managing your own end-to-end TA responsibilities.
If you are a proactive, highly organised recruiter with excellent stakeholder management skills, passionate about early talent and apprenticeships, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and excited to contribute to shaping apprenticeship strategy while guiding diverse learners through their career journey, this role is for you.
