We’re hiring an Events Coordinator to join a top-tier football club delivering a wide range of high-energy, live events at one of the UK’s most iconic venues. This is a hands-on, on-the-day delivery role—perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to be at the heart of live events. You’ll support the execution of everything from pitch-side experiences and brand activations to corporate conferences and private events. Expect variety, big personalities, and a brilliant atmosphere—no two days will look the same.
The Role
- Support the delivery of 3+ live events per day, often back-to-back
- Assist with pitch events (e.g. tournaments, brand activations with major sponsors, influencer sessions, filming)
- Provide on-the-day coordination support—this is not a planning role, but execution-focused
- Manage event check-ins, delegate lists, and Excel tracking
- Print and prepare event materials (badges, signage, documentation)
- Act as an extra pair of hands across all live events
- Liaise with guests including corporate clients, influencers, talent, and partners
- Work closely with a team of 4 coordinators to ensure smooth delivery
- Support transition into conference and corporate events (June onwards: dinners, work events, etc.)
What You’ll Be Working On
- Pitch Events: Guests playing on the pitch (brands like Nike, Cadbury, etc.)
- Influencer & Filming Events
- Corporate Conferences & Dinners
- Private & Experiential Events
Every event is different—this is a highly varied, people-focused role in a fun, energetic environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 1–2+ years’ experience in events, ideally supporting live/on-the-day delivery
- Background in events coordination (not sales or purely planning-focused roles)
- Experience in sporting, corporate, experiential, or conference events
Skills & Behaviours
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced, live environment
- Personable and confident, comfortable working with a wide range of people (including influencers, athletes, and corporate clients)
- Proactive with a strong can-do attitude
- Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with basic admin tools (Excel, CRM systems, check-ins)
Additional Requirements
- Must be available immediately (ASAP start)
- Flexible to work shift patterns between 8am–10pm
- Willing to work some weekends (included within 35-hour week)
- Based onsite at Stamford Bridge
Why This Role?
- Work at a prestigious, top-tier football club
- Be part of a close-knit, high-performing events team
- Gain exposure to high-profile brands, talent, and large-scale events
- A genuinely fun, energetic environment where people are there to enjoy themselves
- Strong opportunity to convert into a permanent role
