Job Description

We are looking for Production Operatives to join our fast growing team and business based in Sheerness.

Your main tasks will be to ensure products are produced and packed in an efficient and timely manner to the highest possible quality standards working to our customer specifications.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Prepare and pack bakery products against customer orders.
  • Assist in the smooth running of the bakery by contributing your energy to a variety of tasks within the bakery.
  • Help us to ensure that you and your colleagues are working in a safe and hygienic workplace.
  • Complete paperwork ensuring a high level of accuracy.
  • Ensure all products are packed efficiently and correctly labelled in accordance with the packing specification.
  • Report any out of spec products, machinery issues or non‑conformances to team leader/supervisor promptly.
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co‑workers.
  • Follow and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Must have good organisational and time‑keeping skills.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands‑on varied role; previous food industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Monday to Friday 14.00 to 22.00.
