We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global technology consulting organisation for an experienced Senior Bid Writer to support the continued growth of its UK Public Sector business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished bid professional who thrives on producing winning proposals while helping shape and improve bid excellence across a growing organisation.

The Role

You'll take ownership of high-value public sector bids, leading the development of compelling, compliant and high-scoring responses across a range of procurement processes including ITTs, SQs, PQQs, RFIs, RFPs and framework submissions.

Working closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts, you'll transform complex technical, commercial and delivery information into customer-focused proposals that clearly articulate value and align with evaluation criteria.

You'll also play a key role in developing and maintaining a central bid content library, driving continuous improvement, sharing best practice and helping to raise bid quality across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end bid responses for UK Public Sector opportunities.
  • Develop persuasive, compliant and customer-focused proposals.
  • Analyse tender documentation, scoring criteria and win themes.
  • Collaborate with sales, delivery, finance, commercial, legal and technical teams.
  • Manage review cycles and ensure submission quality.
  • Build and maintain reusable bid content, case studies and response libraries.
  • Capture lessons learned, monitor bid performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Influence stakeholders and maintain momentum across multiple concurrent bids.

About You

You’ll bring

  • Proven bid writing experience within an IT services, technology or consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK Public Sector procurement and evaluation processes.
  • Experience writing business, commercial, financial, technical and delivery responses.
  • Excellent written communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Experience with public sector frameworks and bid libraries would be advantageous.
