Creative Operations Manager

London, a minimum of 3x days onsite per week

Up to £395 per day via umbrella

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Operations Manager to join an established creative team during an exciting period of change and development.

This is a hands-on freelance opportunity where you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager, helping to strengthen resource planning, capacity management and the way work flows across the agency.

It’s more than just a resource management role. You’ll bring wider Creative Operations experience, offering senior-level support, solving complex challenges and helping shape processes, systems and ways of working for the future.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting resource and capacity planning across competing priorities and upcoming work.
  • Identifying potential risks around demand, capacity and utilisation before they become issues.
  • Working closely with Creative, Project Management, Production and Client teams to keep work moving effectively.
  • Providing senior operational support and practical solutions to day-to-day challenges.
  • Helping improve planning, workflow, governance, processes and ways of working.
  • Bringing fresh ideas and best practice from your Creative Operations experience.
  • Helping develop the wider Operations function and build stronger connections between resource, systems, data and workflow.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience in Creative Operations, Agency Operations or Resource Management.
  • Experience working within a creative agency or complex in-house environment.
  • Strong understanding of resource planning, forecasting, utilisation, workflow and operational processes.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders and across multiple teams.
  • A pragmatic, collaborative approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Workfront is essential, particularly for resource planning, workflow and operational management.
  • Someone who can quickly understand a business, get stuck in and make an impact within a short-term freelance engagement.

If you’re a Creative Operations professional who enjoys improving how teams work, solving complex operational challenges and making things run more effectively, this could be a great opportunity to make a real impact.
