Marketing Manager (Content Creation + Copyright)
Our public sector client is looking for an experienced and hands on Marketing Manager to join the team to help drive the creation of engaging and impactful content, and producing high-quality brand assets that amplify the organisation’s global position. You will play a key role in shaping consistent and compelling communications across all channels, influencing customer, partner, and stakeholder perceptions to drive desired behaviours and outcomes.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in a content marketing role (e.g. communications, editorial)
- Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills with excellent attention to detail. Highly Proficient in proofreading and copywriting (brand voice, style, grammar), delivering clear, accurate, and impactful messaging.
- Capable of producing long- and short-form content, including focused copy for speeches, events, campaigns, digital content, social media, and technical topics relevant to high-tech, B2B industries.
- A clear and consistent storyteller who can bridge complex business strategies with market trends, creating compelling, customer-centric content tailored to technical and global audiences by persona and organisation type.
- Agile, proactive, and adaptable with a structured approach to work. Able to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines while ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Proven ability to quickly understand complex technical concepts and apply new domain knowledge to create relevant and accurate content.

- Strong understanding of measurement platforms like Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio with the ability to analyse data and use insights to guide decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in content marketing, digital content, campaigns, and communications, particularly within a high-tech, data-driven, global ,complex business environment.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and platforms for content management, analytics, and design, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, Drupal, HubSpot, Mailchimp and CRM systems.
Day to day
Partner with specialist brand, PR, creative, digital, and experiential agencies as required.
Draft clear, strategic briefs in line with the organisation’s ways of working, ensuring all briefs are reviewed and approved by the Head of Brand and the Head of Marketing Operations. Oversee agency deliverables to ensure they meet agreed targets, quality standards, and project objectives.
Partner with Campaign Managers to support integrated campaigns, providing pre-event, during-event, and post-event content such as event invitations, email nurture flows, web copy, and stand content.
Support the corporate website refresh and enhance the organisation’s online presence through SEO-optimised content to improve authority, search rankings, web traffic, and lead generation.
Maintain regular contact with Senior Product Managers to stay updated on ADMIRALTY products and services, ensuring content aligns with technical specifications and strategic goals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure content accuracy and alignment with broader marketing campaigns, supporting both technical and business objectives.
