Role: Lead Software Developer (Consultancy). Rate: £550 per day (Inside IR35). Duration: 6 Months. Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK Based).

We are looking for a high caliber Lead Software Developer to join a critical Health Programme via a leading consultancy. This is a chance to work on large scale public health infrastructure that impacts millions of citizens.
You will lead the technical direction for a squad of developers, ensuring high quality delivery while navigating complex architectural challenges within a high compliance environment.
The Technical Stack
- Core: Node.js, TypeScript (Lead-level experience is essential).
- Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS knowledge, specifically Lambda, ECR, S3, SQS, and EC2.
- IaC and Orchestration: Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Database: DocumentDB (DocDB).
- DevOps/Tooling: GitLab and robust CI/CD pipeline management.
Experience And Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Public Sector Experience: A proven track record of delivering digital services within the NHS or broader Public Sector.
- Central Government Experience: Extensive experience working within Central Government, strictly adhering to GDS (Government Digital Service) standards.
