About The Role

We are seeking an experienced, action-driven Delivery Manager / Project Manager to join an in-flight, high-priority digital transformation programme through to February 2027.

The core focus of this role is business readiness, task management, and governance for business teams outside of core technology. You will help operational, regulatory, and business stakeholders prepare for a staged cohort go-live (running from October through February) and ensure they are equipped to stay live safely. You will also leverage everyday AI tools to accelerate planning, RAID management, status reporting, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Readiness and Go-Live Execution: Drive business readiness across non-technical teams, including operational processes, training, communications, readiness checkpoints, live proving, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Delivery Planning and Governance: Take over, create, and maintain day-to-day delivery plans, RAID logs, and reporting frameworks. Shape and direct plans for formal approvals and governance measures.
  • Regulatory and Assurance Support: Support bank and regulatory assurance activities by coordinating inputs, evidence, and timelines.
  • Stakeholder and Task Management: Manage a broad group of business and technical stakeholders, helping them make key decisions, removing impediments, and keeping actions moving forward.
  • AI-Assisted Operations: Use AI tools and custom prompts to draft status reports, synthesize long regulatory/policy papers, create first‑draft RAID logs and readiness checklists, and analyze delivery data from tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Clean Handover: Ensure seamless operational continuity and a clean handover to the permanent successor at the end of the engagement.

Key Skills And Experience Required

  • Delivery Experience: Proven track record as a Delivery Manager or Project Manager, ideally within technology-enabled change or complex platform rollouts.
  • Industry Background (In Order of Preference):
    • Delivery or readiness experience within UK retail and consumer credit organizations.
    • Experience within broader Financial Services regulatory environments.
    • A highly articulate, quick-learning, and adaptable candidate with exceptional stakeholder management capabilities across non-technical sectors.
  • Everyday AI Proficiency: Practical experience using AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to draft reports, summarize governance documents, analyze delivery data/trends, and create reusable prompt templates for team workflows.
  • Stakeholder Management and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional technical and non-technical teams without direct authority.
