About The Role

Are you a forward-thinking Cyber Security specialist with a passion for leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform how security is delivered?

We are looking for an experienced AI-Native Cyber Security Manager to join a fast-paced, high-growth venture operating as an agile start-up within an established corporate enterprise. Working fully remotely from a nearshore or midshore region, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and delivering core security solutions for a brand-new platform through to February 2027 using AI tools, agents, and automation to do the heavy lifting wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI-First Security Operations: Build and continuously improve AI-driven workflows for threat analysis, automated vulnerability triage, patch management, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM).
  • Cloud Security (AWS): Implement and oversee security controls across AWS environments using tools such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie, Control Tower, SCPs, and IAM.
  • Risk and Compliance Management: Draft, map, and maintain cyber policies and governance frameworks aligned with PCI-DSS, ISO27001, SOC1/SOC2, DPA, and GDPR.
  • Threat Intelligence and Reporting: Utilize AI tools to automate reporting, track Key Security Performance Indicators (KSPIs), and deliver real-time management updates.
  • Securing AI and Governance: Manage the unique risks associated with internal AI adoption, ensuring adherence to frameworks such as the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and ISO/IEC 42001.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a subject matter expert across cross-functional teams, simplifying complex technical risks for non-technical stakeholders and executives.

Key Skills And Experience Required

  • Hands-on AI Tooling Experience: Proven experience using AI tools and agents (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Security Copilot, custom LLM agents) for threat analysis, policy creation, automated report generation, and triage.
  • AWS Security Expertise: Strong working knowledge of AWS security architectures (Organizations, Control Tower, GuardDuty, Macie, IAM).
  • AI Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI-specific risks, including prompt injection, data leakage, model misuse, and LLM-specific security standards.
  • Agile and Start-Up Mindset: Comfortable in fast-moving, iterative remote environments, balancing speed with robust risk management.
  • Framework Familiarity: Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards (PCI-DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, SOC).
  • Location Requirements: Fully remote, but candidates must be located within Nearshore or Midshore regions with strong English language communication skills and functional overlap with UK working hours.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
