Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeller to lead the revision and enhancement of a critical data model for a large-scale Platform within the energy sector. The current data model requires significant updates to align with the platform's rapid evolution and expanded functionality. You will work collaboratively with an established platform engineering team and a group of senior architects to ensure the data model meets all business and technical requirements for a modern, resilient energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit and Gap Analysis: Analyze the current Platform data model to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
- Design and Implementation: Design a revised data model that supports enhanced platform capabilities and future‑proofs the system architecture.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering teams and consultancy architects to ensure data structures align with overall system goals.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive, high‑quality documentation for the new data model.
- Data Migration Support: Oversee and support the transition of data from the legacy model to the enhanced version.
- Integrity and Validation: Validate data integrity across the platform post‑implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with business stakeholders to ensure the model reflects complex energy sector processes.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure the model adheres to strict industry security and regulatory standards.
Required Skills And Experience
